On Sunday we have made a one day trip to Nagarjuna Sagar. This place is approx 165 km away from Hyderabad and is very scenic and is situated on the River Krishna. The tour started at 07:00 am in the morning and it took 3 hours to get there. The area is very famous for the Nagarjuna Sagar Dam and relics of Buddhist civilisation dating back to the 3rd Century A.D. With a boat we have reached an island in the lake, where you could find most of the Buddhist relics. In the evening we have visited the fascinating Ettipothala waterfall during the wonderful dusk.
